After all, I’m on the Democrat Socialists of America email list and I should start posting some of that up. They completely answer the question of “what’s the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist?” quote well. As that well known humorist keeps saying “here’s yer sign”:

The guy holding the tablet apologized. I have no idea why – I thought it was truth in advertising, myself. These DSA-ers are about as anti-capitalist, anti-democracy (again, NO truth in advertising in their group’s name) and I bet I couldn’t find a difference between them and the Soviet Union or Bernie Sanders if I tried hard with a gun to my head (which a lot of Socialists have been known to do in both the present and the past; history is replete with examples).
I thought this was rather rich as well:
“After watching the video, it was clearly intended as a joke, but it was in very poor taste and rooted in a lack of knowledge about the history of the political left,” Carter said Monday evening.
I wish the report had quoted someone on rebutting that quote. Indeed, I think it PERFECTLY summarizes the history of the political left with COMPLETE knowledge.
