Again, I’m following up on the Op-Ed by Cornerstone post with the actual votes by Republicans. Here are the Republicans that voted against HB1532 ( “prohibiting gender reassignment surgery for minors.” – This means that House members want taxpayers to be forced to participate in irreversible and unnecessary surgery and chemical treatments for minors). Yet, the House voted to up the marriage age; young hetersexual marriage (before 16) bad but young (and younger) genital mutilation (because that’s what happens during reassignment and chemical treatments) is perfectly fine.
Do they ever think cohesively? As in one thing is chained to others?
