Previous here and here. To recap: at about the time we put up a post, Windham School Board Approves Unconstitutional “BATHROOM BILL” Policy, I received an email from a Donna Sawyer who believes that people (other than her) are SO stupid that they have to be told “oh, GraniteGrok might get a spiff if you buy something there”. In my email back to here I had written:
I generally believe that most people are smart – after all, you found them (being from MIT and all) so I believe others that cared such things would as well. And yes, we are independent.
After all, caveat emptor.
She just couldn’t help herself (as if it would make a difference):

Hi Skip,Thank you for the response and for your confirmations. If it helps to clarify, I am referring to the following type of disclosure:Federal Trade Commission requirements for affiliate marketing (“Is ‘affiliate link” by itself an adequate disclosure?”)Best wishes,Donna
I dryly note that I believe her “Best wishes” is other than what most of us would believe (sheer sarcasm). In other words, she tried to Alinsky me with Rule #4 (“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules”; even if it isn’t my book – it IS the book she is demanding I hew to). Yep, that “holier than thou; smarter than you” attitude. Except, if you read the FTC requirements, she’s shooting blanks:

We don’t do product reviews, haven’t done “paid posts” for years, we don’t put “buy now” buttons anywhere, we don’t do product endorsements, we don’t do links in posts to marketeers.– Skip
I would think that if we don’t do ANY of those things, it doesn’t matter (sorta like she doesn’t). She being smart and all that, if she had actually been reading the ‘Grok for a while, she would have already known that we don’t do those activities. Who is the smart one now?
Al Letizio and Dennis Senibaldi must be SO proud! I wonder if she will bother to show up at this meeting:
