Data Point – kinda puts to bed the lie that Planned Parenthood is “necessary” for “women’s healthcare”

baby in wombAnd I put that in quotes because it is a euphemism for “kill that unborn baby” because it sucks come voting time.  At The Blaze, I ran across this:

From a Guttmacher Institute study earlier this year:

  • The abortion rate has fallen to its lowest rate since Roe v. Wade. In 2014, there were 14.6 abortions per 1,000 women age 15-44. That number was as high as 29.3 in the early 1980s.
  • The number of abortions fell below 1 million per year in for the first time since 1975.
  • 90 percent of all U.S. counties had no abortion clinic as of 2014.

Scratching my head here – if pro-abortionists keep yammering and yelping that killing off defunding Planned Parenthood will kill innocent women (and never want to mention the innocent lives they snuff out) and blood will turn our streets read, how can this be true if only 1 in 10 counties have such a death clinic?

There ARE women’s health clinics that handle all kinds of issues but don’t do abortions.  We ought to be funding them when budget season(s) come around.
