Ohio State: how to shut down the Precious Snowflake student stupidity down correctly

THere is no way that we can keep up with all of the stupidness that is College Campuses today.  We can certainly say that what the Left has wrought on those campuses since the 1960s (and the Frankfurt School and that ilk before that) has come to fruition.  Remember the “Broken Windows” form of policing (i.e., crack down on the petty criminal activity and the major ones start to slow as well) that Rudy Guiliano began in NYC during his term as Republican Mayor to rectify the awefullness that was Democrat Mayor Dinkin’s legacy  that succeeded for the next decade (and which present Progressive NYC Mayor Bill DiBlasio is bound and determined to replicate)?  If college presidents were to apply this to their schools, this scourge of uninformed narcissistic self-loving, self-admiring, self-absorbed, self-obsessed, conceited, self-centered, self-regarding, egotistic, egotistical, egoistic and self-assuring incompetents we generally call students would get stopped dead in its tracks by showing them one small fact of life:

Decisions have consequences – sometimes, negative ones

OSU shows how it is done:

Students at Ohio State University who attempted to occupy the area outside of president Michael V. Drake’s officelate Wednesday night experienced a surprise — and a taste of the cruel, real world — when a senior administrator coolly advised them that they would be arrested and expelled if they didn’t retreat from their “occupied space.” The protest began — as such protests often do these days — with a set of demands and the promise to remain firmly ensconced at Bricker Hall, Ohio State’s main administration building, until school officials capitulated to the demands.

…At around 3:30 p.m., about 100 students representing #ReclaimOSU and other campus groups (including OSU Coalition for Black Lives) set up an “open mic” protest near Drake’s second-floor office inside Bricker Hall, reports The Columbus Dispatch. (A few faculty members also reportedly turned up.)…Though most of the protesters skipped out of the event by around dinner time, a hardcore group of about two dozen demonstrators stayed until after midnight. They sang. They chanted.

Eventually, Ohio State senior vice president for administration Jay Kasey appeared to inform the radicals that the time had come to decamp from the taxpayer-funded building.

Protesters asked what Kasey would happen if they chose to stay.

I bet they expected more the spineless dribble that most college administrations have responded with – which is to pretty much cower and give into appeasement mode and continue to let the inmates run the asylums.  Give in and show solidarity – yes sir, the old “feed the bear and hope it doesn’t eat you (at least until being “last to be eaten”).  Imagine their surprise when they met up with, oh gosh, a real adult with a proper and correct response:

Our police officers will physically pick you up and take you to a paddy wagon, and take you to be arrested,” he explained.

“If you are here at five o’clock, our current philosophy is we are going to take you out — escort you out of the building and arrest you. You will be discharged from school also.”  Kasey then confirmed to a demonstrator’s query that “discharged” means expelled.

“I want you to make good decisions. You’re smart kids,” he said.  “We simply tell you the truth and you live with your actions.”

Decisions have consequences.  If nothing else, perhaps having their parents spend tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars on their coddled kids education may get at least one thing injected into their skulls full of mush.
