Blogline of the Day – Capitalism, Social Justice Warrors, and Hypocrisy

THE HYPOCRISY OF PAYPAL’S ‘MISSION AND CULTURE:’ The online payments company cancels plans to expand in North Carolina while maintaining offices in some of the most anti-gay countries in the world.

It is because the LGBT mafia see Christianity as its greatest enemy here in the United States and as easy marks as many won’t fight back at all.  But in those countries that actively kill their LGBT populations?  Like many on the Left, they won’t stand up to the Muslims because they know they’d get hurt (at best) – they hide under the rubric of “cultural norms”. (H/T: Instapundit).

From the post, this sums it up:

“The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture,” Dan Schulman, PayPayl’s president and chief executive, wrote in a statementon Tuesday. “As a result, PayPal will not move forward with our planned expansion into Charlotte.”

How pious. How noble. How hypocritical.

The hysteria ginned up over a law that keeps men from using the women’s restroom is to be expected. It’s what social justice warriors do best.

But where’s the outrage over PayPal’s decision to locate offices in some of the most anti-gay countries in the world?

I guess beheading gays, cutting their heads off, and other vile acts don’t mean much to Paypal.  I guess that’s really their “values” – 30 talents of silver in being traitors there to those here.

UPDATE – This from RedState:

North Carolina Lieutenant Governor, Dan Forest, issued a statement today, in regards to PayPal’s decision to cease expansion in the state over the bill:

“If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it. North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless. If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere else.”

“Just one child”.  Gosh, isn’t it the Left, always trying to push their ideological agenda to disarm all civilians, that says “If it saves just one life!”?  But gee, when the Right uses the same argument, the Left simply ignores their own message.
