Why would we discount Obama in his own words? Why should WE disbelieve his own words – unless he wishes to call himself a liar? Along with this act of Islamic Jihadist terrorism has been a lot of talk of why Obama NEVER uses “Islamic”, “Islam”, or “Muslim” with the word “violence”. Each and every time, it is just “extremism” – which I dryly note has been applied by his Administration to TEA Party folks, Evangelical Christians, returning Veterans, and those who practice their Second Amendment rights. Dr. Nidal at Fort Hood screaming “Allahu Akbar!” as he shot his fellow soldiers deploying overseas (as one example)? Move along people, nothing to see but workplace violence.
No, it wasn’t that Obama wanted to watch the NFL playoffs. No, it wasn’t that his calendar was chuck full of stuff (it was pretty much blank). It wasn’t pretty much anything – except that. After all, he did tell the UN that “‘…The Future Must Not Belong To Those Who Slander The Prophet Of Islam”. Free Speech – but only when it offends no one. Naw, let that go the way of Freedom to Worship.
Oh wait – it DOESN’T say that in the Constitution, does it? And he pretty much told most of our [former?] allies what he thinks of them – and classical Western liberal ideas.
