Capitalism works – thumbdrive beats Greenpeace

by

capitalism works thumbdrive beats GreenpeaceAnd do you really think that a top-down, command-and-control economy that the Democrats and Socialists are trying to implement here in the US, would have ever thought of this?  Possibly, but probably not really; Capitalism is much better suited to where a person can see a problem, see an issue, and then pursue a solution because they could benefit from could happen.  And in the process, solve the same problem for others, solving the NEEDS of others, and everyone benefits from it.

And that is the essence of Capitalism: fulfilling needs with a solution that adds value.  Just as moving to mag tap was far better than punch cards, that moving from 8″ floppy drives to 3.5 “floppies” (in a hard case) was far better, and now thumbdrives are far better than those.  In each case, ease of use was better, storage got MUCH better (especially with the thumbdrives) and PRICE continually dropped (and with thumbdrives, prices plummeted).

And yes, I have used all of those mediums – Capitalism and free markets ROCK!

And yes, rich countries (from free markets and capitalism that protect private property) have been solving environmental problems faster and better than others that don’t – even as those people of the Greenpeace mindset would have us return to the “Noble Savage” state of being (of which only the second word holds true – nothing was “noble” about those living standards).
