…O’Keefe was the undercover journalist who went to polling places throughout the state requesting ballots in the name of dead people. His investigation into how easily voter fraud could be had in New Hampshire roiled the establishment and led to the passage of New Hampshire’s new voter identification laws.
In response to his efforts, the New Hampshire Department of Justice sought to arrest and prosecute O’Keefe for voter fraud, even though he’d never actually accepted or cast the dead voters ballot.
…Even more troubling than the AG’s office, with the full weight of then Governor John Lynch behind it, seeking to prosecute O’Keefe for nothing other than being a journalist, were the methods used.
Why did they show up at the home of a GraniteGrok correspondent with a criminal subpoena for O’Keefe?
Why a picture of Skip Murphy among the materials that was brought by the investigators, with local police in tow, amongst the indictment and the other papers brought y the AG’s investigator?
Why is the AG’s office building “dossiers” on conservative bloggers in the state?
