Maybe the start of a Revolution? Olympic Arms locks arms with LaRue Tactical.

by Skip

Grokster Susan brought the notice that a firearms company, LaRue Tactical, decided that Government should not be any higher than the citizens that consent to it

Again I repeat – yeah, it could be thought that the ‘Grok has been turning into a gunblog.  Well, mebbee so; mebbee not.  While all of us Groksters are shooters and own firearms, firearms really are just the symptom – to us, it is the Principle of the matter that counts.  We see Government overstepping its bounds that were laid down by the Founders – and we need to point out those PEOPLE that actually are doing it.  And we have to protest them and cause them to have a consequence (emphasis mine):

Press Release: Olympic Arms, Inc. Announces New York State Sales Policy

Olympic Arms is a staunch believer in and defender of the Constitution of the United States, and with special attention paid to the Bill of Rights that succinctly enumerates the security of our Divinely given Rights. One of those Rights is that to Keep and Bear Arms.

Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines. We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States, ignoring such SCOTUS rulings as District of Columbia v. Heller – 554, U.S. 570 of 2008, McDonald v. Chicago – 561 U.S. 3025 of 2010, and specifically the case of United States v. Miller – 307 U.S. 174 of 1939.

Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entitywill no longer be served as customers.

In short, Olympic Arms will no longer be doing business with the State of New York or any governmental entity or employee of such governmental entity within the State of New York – henceforth and until such legislation is repealed, and an apology made to the good people of the State of New York and the American people.

If the leaders of the State of New York are willing to limit the right of the free and law abiding citizens of New York to arm themselves as they see fit under the Rights enumerate to all citizens of the United State through the Second Amendment, we feel as though the legislators and government entities within the State of New York should have to abide by the same restrictions.

This action has caused a division of the people into classes: Those the government deems valuable enough to protect with modern firearms, and those whose lives have been deemed as having less value, and whom the government has decided do not deserve the right to protect themselves with the same firearms. Olympic Arms will not support such behavior or policy against any citizen of this great nation.

Olympic Arms invites all firearms manufacturers, distributors and firearms dealers to join us in this action to refuse to do business with the State of New York. We must stand together, or we shall surely fall divided.

Olympic Arms, Inc.

Principle over Profit.  Honoring our most basic Principles as well – that all are equal before the Law and that Government reports to the Citizens and not the reverse.  Lawful Citizens before above  Government.

Just like “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”, there is the related phrase “Government doesn’t bring Tyranny and Oppression onto the Citizenry, PEOPLE subjugate  PEOPLE”.  Oh, it sometimes is like the Bolesheviks and Mansheviks back in Russia that created one of the worst Communitarian societies (think I’ll get kick back from that, seeing that self-acknowledged Communist Van Jones has called Obama a Communitarian?) ever – promise everything to everyone, all the while knowing what the real goal is – absolute power.

And that is what the Second Amendment is all about, Peoples!

I’m just glad to hear that bearing arms is a Divine right. Wunder if i can get some folks behind some other divine rights i’ve read about like slavery and keeping women in their place? After all, my neighbor has a beautiful goat i would like to trade the little woman for.

Course, as a woman Susan, you would not even be able to vote were it not for a right wing jugernaut known as the womens sufferage movement. It all started in a town called Uxbridge, in C dogs favorite state.

Honey, women were voting the Republic of Texas 30 years before the girls in the People’s Republic ever got their knickers in a wad.

        • Chris P. Bacon

Gee, it makes me feel funny when you call me honey.

You may however be mistaken. Women won the right to vote in Texas in 1918. The 19th commandment gave women the right to vote in 1920.

Article V/ Sec. 11. Every citizen of the republic who has attained the age
of twenty-one years, and shall have resided six months within the district or county where the election is held, shall be entitled to vote for members of the general congress. [Constitution of the Republic of Texas, 1836]

Well you got me there. If it was written in The Constitution then it must have happened.

That’s OK, you can’t be held responsible for UT’s the lack of interest in liberty….

Dammit, Chrisp, now I have to go back and check all your factual assertions. Perhaps a little too much vaporizing?

No divinity required, Chrispy, just the treat of one being free, which necessitates the protection thereof, or not. By deduction, the chattel class has no call or right to bare their arms, because they’re perfectly content having the Government class call the shots for them. Why, it’s a perfect union made here on earth. Perhaps they should consecrate it with a big ol’ wedding replete with license for same. I’ll be sure to wear my very best LBD.

I’m guessing their profits won’t suffer too much from their principled stance.

  • Send this to other gun-related companies…

As a customer of yours, I needed let you know that my future purchases of
firearms, ammunition and related accessories will ONLY be those produced by
companies which have publicly taken a pro-Constitutional stance on firearm
legislation and have publicly denounced laws restricting the Constitutional rights
    of my fellow, law-abiding Americans.

I would like to respectfully suggest, and offer my support for, the
temporary adoption of company policies which prevent or severely restrict the
sale and/or delivery of your products to federal, state, and local agencies located
in areas that have passed strict firearm regulations like those recently passed
in the State of New York.

The following five companies, thus far, have communicated their intention
not to sell to any law enforcement or government agencies in New York State.

    – LaRue Tactical

    – Olympic Arms

    – Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC

    – Templar Custom

    – York Arms

Please join these companies and your many customers in adopting policies
against the sale of your products to law enforcement and government agencies in
the State of New York. “If it can’t be sold to the citizens, it won’t be sold
to the government or law enforcement”.

I know you are probably busier now than you have ever been, so I would like
to sincerely thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to read an email
    from a loyal customer.

    Very best regards,
