Ben Nelson, Senator from Nebraska, dropped any pretense at principles two years ago, and took a $100,000,000.00 dollar carrot to get away from the Democrat leadership stick, allowing the passage of the economy-crushing-bureaucratic crap-storm euphemistically referred to as ObamaCare.
