Greetings, committee members. While I haven’t read all 149 pages of the budget heading your way, I know some who have. This email could easily get very long, but I will try to keep it short and focus on my biggest grievances against the House for passing it.
It’s time to set the record straight about HB544, which aims to ban “Divisive Concepts” and Critical Race Theory. CRT is neo-Marxism merged with Nazi propaganda: it replaces Jews as the scapegoats with white people in general.
We need your help right now to get this across the finish line. Please contact your local state reps and ask them to support the budget. ReopenNH endorsed state representatives have successfully added key emergency powers reforms into the state budget, which increases the chances that they will become law.
The New Hampshire House will meet later this week, September 18 and 19, with the Senate meeting on the 19th.
