“We are our brother’s keeper,” is frequently uttered by his Majesty, which often incites a racing chill up the spine of the unfortunate recipients of the utterance. The chill is especially acute to those who actually read the Bible. Characteristically, however, it’s meant to be taken figuratively and not literally. Or so it seems.
