Yesterday I reported on the back and forth between an Oakland ‘Obama’ Judge and the 9th Circuit. The 9th limited a lower court injunction (twice) on Trump’s asylum rule to AZ and CA but SCOTUS, having had enough, has stepped in and on the issue.

Back in August the 9th Circuit Court rejected a lower court decision on a Trump Administration Asylum rule. The rule required prospective asylees to stay in Mexico while their claim was processed. A federal judge had put a nationwide stay on the rule. The 9th said, no you don’t.

A California Federal court ruled that the US Government could not require asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while their claims were considered. But the 9th Circuit court of appeals has just stepped in and given the Trump administration a partial victory.
