Jeff Chidester and I will be speaking at the Stratham Republican Town Committee’s annual fundraising event later this week. It’s called ‘What a Crock (of Soup).” It’s the 6th annual occurrence, and I love soup, so when they asked if I’d like to keynote, I said yes.
There will be many, many crocks of soup, thus the name.
They also asked me if I’d ask Jeff. Apparently, they liked the monthly banter Jeff and I share on his Morning Update on WFEA (the fourth Wednesday of each month). The idea is that we’ll do that live, which should be easy enough, and we’ll be able to see each other (the monthly thing is over the phone). It should make it better.
I’m happy to share a stage or microphone with just about anyone, especially Jeff, so I asked; he said yes, and it’s game on.
We’ll talk about whatever news or politics is current, and yesterday I asked our hosts to set up cards and buckets so people can write down a topic or question when they check in; we’ll pick a few and answer them on the spot during our live in-person portion of the event.
We will, of course, be around before that to chat or whatever, and I should have a table set up with some stuff (some free, and some merch to buy).
You can also drop off a donation (it is, after all, Groktober).
The flyer is below with the details.
And FYI: Jeff and I have our next WFEA segment this Wednesday at 7:35 AM ET.
