A prominent New Hampshire Seacoast Democrat got busted today for sign stealing. Jonathan Caldwell has served as the Stratham Town Dem Committee finance chair (election law complaint filed against Caldwell and Stratham, here) and he is the current campaign finance guy (fiscal agent) for Democrat NH State Senate Candidate Debra Altschiller.
The ‘Grok has a long and amusing (we think so, she does not) relationship with Mz Altschiller (many posts here), so the Caldwell thing and its proximity to the Debster are equally amusing.
Caldwell was confronted by a citizen whose sign Jonathan was in the process of stealing (story and video follow).
A number of days ago, I put up a 10 foot wide one foot tall sign that said “supports men in girl’s locker rooms”. It had arrows pointing up and I put it in front of (but not obstructing) a number of Democrat signs. That sign was stolen a couple of days ago, so I made a new sign this morning that said “Supports men in women’s sports” and put it up early morning. These signs were on public property on the traffic circle in Stratham that houses “Collector’s Eye.”
Just before 10am I was driving around the circle and saw a car behind me rapidly pull on to the grass. I looped the circle and you can see the video of me confronting the person who stole the sign. At first he says it is private property, but when I point out that I know it is public property he says the abutter (owners of Collector’s Eye) want it removed.
This does not matter. I tell him I am calling the police, he gets in his car and drives away. I follow and the police pull him over with my sign in the trunk. They now have the sign in evidence and I am pressing charges.
Caldwell doesn’t seem too concerned, though that aire of indifference may have shifted when the police pulled him over and found him with property that did not belong to Jonathan Caldwell.

As you can see, Caldwell is a good and proper Dem. He drives a virtu-signal mobile with a vanity plate (EEE VEE) and a Harris Walz Sticker on the back.
And how cliche. A Democrat is stealing other people’s stuff. What could be more Democrat than that? I can’t think of anything.
Quick question: I thought you Democrats were proud to support men who identify as women in women’s sports. Debra Altschiller sure does. She’s anti-parental rights, pro-taxpayer-funded public school grooming, boys in girls bathrooms, and on their sports teams. If there’s an extreme left-Wing position Deb Altschiller’s got it.

I hope you, Caldwell, didn’t steal that “Supports men in women sports” sign from near one of hers—in broad daylight, on a Sunday morning.
That’s awkward because, dude, she totally supports that.
I’m also thinking this might not be Jonathon’s first time stelaing a sign; doesn’t that sort of brazen public act suggest previous experience? Is that how your son learned to steal signs? He got caught once that we know of which makes you wonder how many signs this dynamic duo has pilfered over the years.
Speculation. I have no evidence other than what lay before us all.
And how Does the Debster feel about this? It’s not a good look days before an election to have a campaign staffer busted for stealing a sign. Or maybe it is a good look. These are the Democrats we’re talking about.
One more question: Is there any chance one of her husband’s “newspapers” will report this theft?
