Last night a vigil for Charlie Kirk was held at the University of New Hampshire by NH Representative and UNH student, Sam Farrington.
There were a few hundred people in attendance, from young children to grandparents, and everyone in between, including many students.
The vigil started with a prayer and included several speakers who talked about Charlie and his legacy, as well as continuing to fight for what is right, through the ballot box and conversations. Representative Lisa Mazur gave a tearful speech about Charlie and earned cheers from the crowd when she announced that there have been over 54,000 requests for new Turning Point chapters in just the past week. She stated that Charlie’s lifetime goal of chapters had been 20,000.
There were many students and attendees who were clearly Religious as they were wearing apparel that indicated their beliefs. There were American flags and patriotic apparel as well.

There were no counter protesters in sight other than one girl who literally started screaming right after the start, like a toddler having a tantrum because Mommy wouldn’t give her candy in the grocery store. She then started spewing the same lies and propaganda she’s been spoon fed from the left.
Another girl tried to have a rational conversation with the irrational leftist. She did an excellent job of trying to calm her down to discuss. She was a hero. She did exactly what Charlie would have done. Unfortunately for her, she missed the entire vigil and was still talking to her when I left, but she saved everyone else from having to hear the screams of the indoctrinated.
I would give the indoctrinated girl some credit if she had gone there and asked people questions, but she did what leftists are taught to do – interrupt, interfere, scream, yell, and make a scene. There were little girls crying because of her behavior. They were at the vigil because they were upset Charlie was murdered. They just wanted to mourn and celebrate Charlie’s life, like everyone else in attendance.
Turning Point USA deserves massive kudos for the incredible work they do. It takes patience to try and reason with those who don’t use reason. It’s critical, now more than ever, that more students join the organization and build up chapters in their schools.
Conversation is the only way this country survives in the future.
