MACDONALD: Happy Birthday…

If August 17th is your birthday, you share it with me. Some on the left will be horrified to discover we share a birthday, but what will horrify them more is if you give a gift to ‘Grok on this last day of our donation matching fundraiser.

Funding GraniteGrok means we continue to provide a voice for those who are committed to principles before parties, which includes calling out all the Democrats and a few Republicans who can’t seem to remember what the Party platform, State, and Federal Constitutions say.

We also offer citizens a platform for political thought or opinion that no one else is likely to publish and a place where our authors can take anyone to the woodshed, and our readers can rebut them if they disagree. The goal is debate, even when we, the Editors, may not entirely agree.

And unlike every other “outlet,” GraniteGrok is not beholden to anyone for ad dollars or access. We are truly independent media. You fund us and we try to do “right” by your rights, in return.

On this last day of our current fundraiser, please take a moment to make a donation of any size, from five dollars to a larger number with or without a five in it. It will go to sustain and maintain GraniteGrok.com in 2025, and if we’re lucky, some of 2026.

And to everyone else with a birthday on August 17th, whether you agree with us or not, Happy Birthday to you too.

You can donate by check as well, just email me today, at steve@granitegrok.com.

And, as always, thanks for reading.
