Press Release: New Hampshire Family Justice to Host “Rally for Families” at State Capitol

With Featured Speaker Ryan Ralston of You Are The Power

Concord, NH — June 1, 2025 — On Saturday, June 7th at 12:00 PM, New Hampshire Family Justice (NHFJ) will host the Rally for Families at the New Hampshire State Capitol in Concord. This major public demonstration will call attention to the growing crisis of injustice in New Hampshire’s child welfare and family legal systems, and will feature Ryan Ralston, Volunteer Director of the national non-profit You Are The Power, as the rally’s keynote speaker.

The event is open to the public and invites families, advocates, and citizens from across the state to demand transparency, accountability, and urgent reform from state agencies including DCYF, Family Court, and YDC. The rally will also offer a family-friendly atmosphere with sign-making, lawn games, crafts, snacks, and music.

Ryan Ralston has spent over a decade as a grassroots advocate for civil rights and criminal justice reform in Georgia. As Volunteer Director of You Are The Power, a national movement founded by 2020 Libertarian VP candidate Spike Cohen, Ryan empowers local communities to resist government overreach and demand respectful, community-based solutions. His activism is rooted in the Principle of Human Respect, a philosophy that resonates deeply with NHFJ’s mission to protect the constitutional rights of New Hampshire families.

“Ryan Ralston brings both heart and fire to the fight for justice,” said Katrina Heinrich, of New Hampshire Family Justice. “He represents the kind of solutions-first activism that our broken child and family systems desperately need.”

From federal lawsuits to failed audits, the public record in New Hampshire is clear: the state’s child welfare and family court systems are plagued by mismanagement, abuse, and constitutional violations. NHFJ has highlighted how these failures have resulted in the commoditization of children, wrongful family separations, failure to prosecute child abuse, conflicts of interest among state officials and contractors, and denial of due process, leading to devastating consequences for thousands of children and families.

This assembly of the People of New Hampshire will serve as a platform for survivors, whistleblowers, and concerned citizens to speak out and be heard.

The Rally for Families isn’t just a protest; it’s a celebration of the strength, dignity, and resilience of families across the state. Attendees are encouraged to bring their children, make signs, share stories, and build community together. Activities will include:

  • Sign-making station
  • Live family-friendly DJ
  • Lawn games
  • Crafts and activities for kids
  • Snacks and refreshments
  • Opportunities for public testimony and story-sharing

NHFJ is leading a nonpartisan movement to bring accountability, justice, and human respect back into New Hampshire’s child and family systems. Whether you’ve been directly impacted or want to stand in solidarity, the Rally for Families offers a chance to demand reform and show that the people of New Hampshire will no longer be silent.
