Does Queen Sharon Think We Are Stupid?

Let’s first acknowledge that not all House committees have a Senate clone of them.  Prior to this year, they didn’t have one for Children and Family Law or Education FUNDING, for example.  Gun bills and other Criminal Justice House bills usually go to Judiciary.  House school mask bills have gone to HHS instead of Education, perhaps because masker Jeb wanted to be involved as a committee member.  Who knows why?

But House Transportation DOES have an exact Senate counterpart, and I’ve discussed the money trails of in previous articles, here and here.  Senate Transportation has two common members with Commerce.  Instead of being the chair, Denise is the vice chair of Commerce, but the bigger problem is still the gorilla in the room, Anchor Subaru, um, I mean, Donovan Fenton.

I suppose we should be grateful that Ruth Ward of Transportation, price tagged by the NH Automobile Dealers association at $5600, has been swapped for Senator Murphy, who hasn’t taken a penny that I know of.  Neither have Dan Innis, Tim McGough, or Tara Reardon, but that’s a distraction.  Queen Sharon still gave the bill to a committee with the little darling from a family of car dealers.

What I said earlier still stands.  If you missed that article, I will end this one with the same action item below:

Please tell Donovan Fenton to do the right thing and recuse himself from all Senate Transportation Commerce Committee activity regarding HB649 because it’s a conflict of interest.  If he refuses, please turn the same pointing finger at Queen Sharon and demand that she remove him from the committee.  If she refuses, reporting her to the appropriate ethics body to receive such a complaint would be a good next step.
