Future Senator Emily Phillips is Clearly Unwelcome in the Country Club.

What, dear readers, are the first thoughts that come to your mind when you hear the words “country club?”  Rich old white men playing golf?  Antisemitism?  Anti-anything that is a departure from the Good Old Boys network?  Though several Rs in the Senate do indeed play golf, let me be clear that I’m not implying that they are rich, but most of them are over 60. Let’s move on to the exclusive nature of this 24 member body in which newcomers are NOT welcome without prior approval from Jeb. [Credit goes to JJ Valera for introducing the “country club” moniker of the Senate to me.]

Enter candidate Emily Phillips. I’ve introduced her before and have an anthology of articles for your reference here. In one of them, I mentioned Mike the Russian’s candidacy and how he was treated by the inner circle elite by way of their support for former House Election Law Chair, Attorney Barbara Griffin.  In the true fashion of Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day, here we go again with another senate primary season.  Since boxing has been the topic of recent water cooler discussion, I will use the term “below the belt punch” because one was delivered on behalf of Jeb & Co to Emily Phillips, figuratively, and also to District 23 voters via junk mail.  Melissa Blasek was the one first sounding the alarm, but here’s a tweet from Leah Cushman.

Let it be known that I support free speech, but I find a muzzled image of Emily on a mailer just plain appalling.  And on a sidenote, notice that HB 1093 had only ONE senate cosponsor.  Senator Murphy occupies the seat that Mike the Russian beat Barbara Griffin in a primary for.  I’m pleased that he found it important enough to put his name on the 2.0 version of the school mask policy bill.  It’s a shame that he was a lone wolf and that the Uniparty establishment Rs didn’t join him, and it’s even more of a shame that several of them COSPONSORED the RTK tax(HB 1002).  Senator Gannon was one of them, and Emily Phillips is primarying him.

All of New Hampshire has an opportunity to contribute to this NH Senate War Effort, be it door-knocking, lit-dropping, sign-waving, sharing this article, or donating.

Please help her crash that (uni) party in the Senate chamber!
