A Response to Some AFP Endorsements

We should first congratulate future Senator Emily Phillips on receiving an AFP endorsement (regular readers know I’ve given AFP some mixed reviews). Please donate to Emily if you can, no matter what Senate district you call home. Senator Gannon has some deep-pocketed elite support in his arsenal. No amount is too small. You can also learn more about Emily and her campaign in three previous articles linked here.

On the “other side of the wall,” AFP is also supporting rep candidates (Brian Labrie and Danielle Evansic) in a Bedford primary against Linda Gould, an enemy of 91A.

In the Town of Raymond, AFP is supporting Cindy Bennett and Brian Nadeau in a primary against Tim Cahill and Kevin Pratt, the latter of which is also an enemy of 91A.

Also supported by AFP in Seabrook is Matt Sabourin in a primary against Aboul Khan, a 91A hater who managed to elbow his way into House Judiciary for an executive session on HB 1002.

Now that I’ve said some nice things about AFP, it’s time to reprimand them. First of all, they endorsed Mr Stephen, who is clearly the establishment elite’s chosen little darling, as I’ve noted in previous articles. Further adding to AFP’s bad activism are their endorsements of 2 incumbent reps; Scott Wallace and Joe Alexander, who are also enemies of 91A.

It’s high time we question the philosophy of AFP’s upper management, particularly those in control of who gets endorsed, because they seemingly don’t care about right-to-know, but praise to them for their good endorsements.  Let’s not rain on their parade.
