CARDELLO: Democrats Have Gone from Me Too to Not Me

Maybe this is just another attack on women. After all, they want men to undress in your daughter’s locker room in high school, and to injure your daughter badly on the basketball or volleyball court. They want your once champion collegiate swimmer, who is poised to win an NCAA individual title, to stand on the second tier and look up to a boy on the top of the podium who stole the race and her dream.

These are the Democrats who tried to destroy a man’s career while his wife and daughter watched, by using false accusations of sexual misconduct. There was no proof; there didn’t have to be. As Mazie Hirono, the loudmouth low-results Senator from Hawaii, said, “It is time for men to just suck it up and shut up.” Classy talk for one of America’s finest. And let’s not forget when the bar was brought to its lowest on a bridge in a dark night in Chappaquiddick, when Mary Jo Kopechne drowned as Ted Kennedy ran to cover his reputation rather than try to save her. Ted wasn’t removed from the Senate or jailed. Ted continued his career in the Senate and actually ran for President in 1980. Mary Jo never got a chance to vote for Ted.

Since 2015, the Democrats have preached the importance of character and have called Donald Trump every name from rapist to racist to Nazi. They have impeached him twice, tried to break him in the courts, have pledged to impeach him again if they take back the House, and have labeled him as a Nazi. They have been faced with an opportunity to prove that all these comments and complaints about the leader of the MAGA movement were deserved, but they have come up short. That is being too kind. They failed miserably and showed their true colors as Hippocrates. They still have time to correct, but there is no evidence of that happening.

The Graham Platner saga is getting old; actually, it has gotten disgusting and disappointing. It is disgusting in him as a human being, and I am disappointed that he could con so many people to have gotten this far in the political process. Plantner will be elected today to be the Democratic candidate for Senate to represent the once proud state of Maine. Maine, like many other states, specifically California, is no longer proud, but confused. There were many more descriptive adjectives, but I wanted to stay above the bar.

He has managed to get nearly every Democrat in Congress to support him, and they gladly did because he was a tool, a conduit to replacing six-term Senator Susan Collins, and helping the Democrats take back the Senate. The Democrats have sold their souls in plain sight, and showed who they truly are-a power-hungry group of people who are using the American people, the political system, and the media to gain power and riches. People like Graham Platner are just a means to an end, and there is no consideration for the people of Maine. The good people have been taken over by the progressive radicals with an unclear vision of the future.

California Representative Ro Khanna was in Maine this weekend to campaign with Platner just as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have in past weeks. None of them have a vested interest in Graham except for him turning the final red seat of Maine and New England blue. When Khanna was asked if he was concerned about the sexual/physical accusations made about Platner, he said no because there was no evidence of physical harm, and that is his red line. He had a far different line when it came to Brett Kavanaugh. Then we were told we had to believe every woman. That rule does not pertain this time. Democrats can forgive every negative aspect of Platner’s life if he can supplant Collins.

Platner will give his victory speech on Tuesday night, hopefully staying fully clothed so we do not have to see his nipples or infamous tattoo. He best not get too comfortable in his role as candidate, because the Democrat machine is going to replace him with Janet Mills by mid-July. Platner won’t even be a memory at that point, just a rusty tool in the box.
