It must be Illegal Jamaicans Day. Earlier, we reported on a Jamaican citizen who voted illegally in three elections in New Hampshire. Now we’ve got a story about an illegal who got caught when he tried to buy a firearm. Jon Luke Evans reportedly arrived legally in 2023 in Miami but overstayed his legal welcome.
At the time of his arrest, he was employed as a police officer in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and was buying the firearm as part of his job, which had already provided him with a service pistol for work.
Shockingly, Evans was employed as a local law enforcement officer. The fact that a police department would hire an illegal alien and unlawfully issue him a firearm while on duty would be comical if it weren’t so tragic. We have a police department that was knowingly breaking the very law they are charged with enforcing in order to employ an illegal alien. ICE Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien threats from our New England communities.”
He was carrying a gun illegally, supplied to him by the local PD.
As regards the illegal Jamaican voter in New Hampshire, the local authority charged with safeguarding your voting rights claimed what they did wasn’t illegal based on state law. But that means state law allows New Hampshire election officials to ignore or violate federal law. The illegal non-citizens voted in three elections, including a primary and a federal election (Nov 2024).
What should we expect from the Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Police to say? They didn’t do a background check? What did he present as proof of ID and residency? It was legal to arm an illegal alien who could not legally purchase a firearm?
And to be clear, Evans might be a great guy with the best of intentions, but the process of changing laws we disagree with is not to ignore them for some people but not others. A DemocracyTM only functions properly when the rules of order established by the mob (the majority) are adhered to by everyone else; otherwise, it is anarchy, ruled by 50.01% of the population, who inevitably become a much smaller ruling class of untouchables with a mob boss at the helm.
State-level thuggery is common, especially in blue states that, since their Democracy is part of our shared Republic, agreed to subject themselves to a Federal Government that exists to protect natural rights (doin’ a shit job for the most part) and manage the few shared insterests like national defense which includes border security, immigration, custmos, interstate commerce, treaties with foreign nations and so on.
Jon Luke Evans ignored the end date on his permission slip and tried to purchase a firearm illegally, the latter of which ought to have the activist left in an uproar. If he didn’t have to complete Form 4473 and subject himself to a background check, he’d still be free and working illegally for the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.
