The Gulf of New Hampshire “meme,” for lack of a better word, has been popping up on X since Trump’s EO renaming the Gulf of Mexico.
Our paltry 13-ish mile coastline must “identify” as 3,480 (Maine’s tidal coastline is only 3,478 miles). 228 miles if you use the bays and inlets. but who would do that?

You can also see Connecticu getting in on the action.
Illinois Gov. Pritzker trolled the antics by claiming to rename Lake Michigan Lake Illinois and annexxing Green Bay, Wisconsin for good measure (‘cuz Trump said he wants to buy Greenland).

If you forgot, when Trump first suggested it, Gov. Abbot thought Gulf of Texas was a good name.
Feel free to share other examples if you find them or suggest your own. Like renaming Veromt California or New York, for example. You know what to do.
