Cardello: Tim Walz is a Shameless Charlatan Gaslighting Anyone Listening

Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota addressed the people of Minnesota and the country when he held a press conference in Minneapolis the day after a woman lost her life while protesting ICE agents on the ground in Minnesota. Reports show that this woman harassed ICE agents throughout the day. When those agents attempted to arrest her, she weaponized her vehicle and attempted to ram agents with her vehicle.

The agent hit by her vehicle defended himself and his fellow agents by discharging his weapon and fatally shooting the driver. Renee Nicole Good, 37, lived in Minneapolis with her female partner just blocks from where she was shot. Good had recently moved to Minnesota with her three children. Her mother described her as a wonderful woman. Her mother had no explanation as to why her daughter was without her children as she spent the day protesting on the streets of Minneapolis.

This shooting of Good was the event that sparked heated protests and the many press briefings by Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Frey. On Thursday, Walz was calling out the rhetoric of federal officials and the presence of ICE in their state. He did not refer to the vulgar statement made by Frey when he told ICE to get the F&%K out of his city. ICE and all other federal officials are in Minnesota to sort out the massive fraud scheme that has been operating for over a decade and was known to Governor Walz, AG Ellison, and Mayor Frey, who chose to do nothing to stop the flow of billions of dollars from Minnesota to Somalia and the pockets of key members of the Somalia community.

Walz has already announced he will not run for reelection, but many think he should have gone further and resigned. He claimed that Minnesota officials can investigate the death of Good as they have the fraud. He is satisfied that no outside help is needed, but that is not what whistleblowers were telling Congress yesterday. These Minnesota state employees said that what has been uncovered to date is the tip of the iceberg and that every social welfare program in the state has been violated by individuals taking funds by exploiting programs that are not carefully monitored.

Walz was playing the victim for himself and the people of Minnesota. That is simply false. If he is not guilty of taking funds, he is complicit in allowing it to happen on his watch for 10 years. He referred to how Minnesota recovered after the murder of George Floyd, when Floyd was not murdered, and much of Minneapolis is still boarded up, and businesses are shut down.

Walz called what is happening civil disobedience while cameras are capturing his residents spitting at agents and pummeling them with snow and ice balls. What he is calling civil is actually an assault of federal agents. Tim Walz was gaslighting with a litany of false information and was doing a disservice to the citizens of Minnesota. Walz and Ellison have been called before Congress next week to testify about the fraud matter. At that time, resignation may become indictments. What Walz did on Thursday is the antithesis of what politicians swear to do, and in this case, we can count our blessings that Governor Tim Walz is not Vice President Tim Walz.
