IMHO the critical paragraph:
To say that “no one wants a war” when we’re demonstrably already embroiled in a war is the height of folly. It’s like closing one’s eyes and chanting “Make it go away.” Once a war has begun, it must be fought to a conclusion.

AI powered scams are on the rise, and they are even hitting major public figures. Be aware that they can easily fake a person’s voice now, even with only 30 seconds of audio to work from. My suggestion is this: For the people in your immediate circle, create a code word or phrase that they can use to validate that it’s actually them, so if they need something from you, you know it’s actually the real person. Something like asking “how is Fluffy?” and the response should be “We laughed at Fluffy the other day”, when Fluffy was a family dog that passed away a decade ago. That would be very hard for AI to figure out, but easy for family to remember. Also, do NOT publish that phrase anywhere; you should ONLY discuss it well away from any electronic device (call me paranoid, but many devices ARE listening to you 24/7/365):

Speaking of scams, remember the billions and billions of taxpayer dollars we shoveled into Ukraine during Biden’s pResidency? I find this article pretty depressing, because it states that 90% of college students have been brainwashed into thinking that words ARE violence. And also that “Silence is Violence”. So to them, the ONLY acceptable way you are allowed to speak is to parrot “woke” slogans, and the leftist are (or should be) allowed to use force to silence all other opinions. This is direct contradiction to the 1st Amendment, and if allowed to flourish, will lead to a rather dystopian future. If these are our “best & brightest”, I weep for my country:

Almost 1/2 of new college students are now classified as “disabled”. And why not? They get all kinds of perks (and money) for being labeled “disabled”, even if they are healthy, normal young adults. Personally, I have a 95% hearing loss in my right ear (due to using a rifle in the USMC for 8 years), so technically I’m “disabled”. But otherwise, I’m pretty good health wise and I can work, scuba dive, and get around just fine, so I don’t claim any “disability”. But the Left can pull charges out of thin air to “get Trump”, have the judge declare that he’s guilty before the trial even starts, and then fine him $480 Million, and that’s A-OK, right?

The Leftists are itching to get power back so they can bring about their grand socialist plan and REALLY run America into the ground. My brother is a lawyer in PA, and he is always ranting about how corrupt the PA courts are. Looks like the courts in Nashua, NH are corrupt also, as this article states:
When people realize that instead of being impartial, the legal deck is severely stacked against them, and that the government is not upholding the law, but bending it to serve the interests of the rich & powerful, they lose all respect for judges and the law (and rightly so). THAT’s when people start taking the law into their own hands, which is very dangerous. A good friend of mine recently opined: “The Rule of Law is dead; spicy time approaches”.

In a major “self-own”, the Dem party commissioned a survey to find out why they are not doing well in the polls. What they found was that the majority of normal, hardworking people are fed up of being called “deplorables” (and worse) and have decided to walk away from the party. But the leftists STILL don’t understand why the very people they are denigrating and pushing away are not flocking to the “woke” banner being flown by the elites:

A commenter named Leslie MacMilla left this comment in regards to an article about how Canada is seriously thinking about giving ALL their land back to the Indian tribes (the First Nations). Her ideas on voting have a lot of merit, because if you have no stake in the country, you don’t care about it, so it’s all about the bennies:
I prefer a voting aristocracy of property owners myself, which could include women, of course. Married women who owned their homes and farms in joint tenancy with their husbands as well as single women who owned property in their own right could certainly vote. Where we have gone off the rails is with people voting who don’t own real property and therefore have no stake in the country. They want to tell property owners what they shall be permitted to do with it, and that is fascism. If they want to take it away from them, that is communism. Either way, dangerous. If young people have given up on the idea of ever owning a house and have became a class of proletarian serfs then we are in serious trouble. My sister (not the same last name) rents an apartment, owns no real property, and has never had to save because her civil service pension pays her almost as much as her salary. Her son is something of a lost soul and will probably never own a house, either, They can both say, “I vote Liberal or NDP — [I don’t know who they actually vote for but I can guess] — What difference does it make to me if the apartment building I live in is owned by 3423253 Ontario Ltd. or by the XYZ First Nation?”
If you used to own a house but sold it to move into an apartment or assisted living centre, that should mark the end of your voting rights….unless you own some real property in your investment portfolio.
From the Richmond kerfuffle, I get the impression that too many Canadians are contemptuous of people who own property and would cheerfully see the Cowichans dispossess them. They are envious only that the Cowichans might get to do it and they themselves can’t.
(By owning property I mean normal fee simple deeds, not this vaguely threatening aboriginal title. So no, the aboriginals shouldn’t have the vote unless they individually own private property off the Reserve.)
Of course, leftists would never allow this to happen, as it would destroy their voting base. And if it (by some miracle) DID pass, your can bet that some leftist would start selling 1 square inch lots just so their voting base could say “I own property”. So it would have to be a minimum 1/2 acre lot or something. The article she commented on can be found here:

A lot of these are aimed at people who own homes. But it does highlight the difference between merely stockpiling – not a bad thing in and of itself – and cultivating a survivor mentality.
