Kamala Harris is not ready to be written off, but that assumes she was ever on. Kamala was not. It is very sad to watch her desperately try to stay in the spotlight. It is amazing that the two women whom Donald Trump defeated to become President cannot accept the loss and move on. They somehow think they are still newsworthy, and the damn media feeds their need. I am disappointed that even FOX News will give both of these angry, frustrated women airtime. It’s like giving an alcoholic a drink. The best thing that could happen to Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton is for everyone to ignore them and let them go on to the next phase of their lives, which should not be political.
Kamala Harris has nothing to point to for her time in public service, except for being the first female vice president and the first of color. The checking of these two boxes, especially the color, was the only reason she was anywhere near the White House. She was a DEI hire for the worst administration in our history, which was filled with inept DEI appointments. She was not positioned to run for President, and you only need to look at her disastrous first run in 2020, when she dropped out before the first primary vote was cast.
The Democrats love to preach their loyalty to the Constitution and their defense of Democracy. How Democratic was it when Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer forced Joe Biden to end his candidacy, and Kamala Harris was given the nod to take his place? No primary, no voting process, Harris took Joe’s spot on ballots across the land and blew more than a million dollars in 107 days. Harris often complains about the short campaign, but she will not take responsibility for allowing Joe Biden to put his name in play for 2024. As Vice President, Harris claimed she was in constant contact with Biden, yet never saw a decline in his mental acuity. Is that gaslighting or outright ignorance?
Harris wrote her tell-all book about her campaign, in which she burned every relationship she ever had on her nepotistic rise up the Democratic ladder. The book made some think she was done with politics. However, her constant appearance on the left-leaning talk shows or knocking on the door of the New York Times looking for attention says otherwise. Harris feels the Democratic candidate’s spot is hers for the taking and that Newsom, Buttigieg, Shapiro, and Eric Swalwell are all running for the VP spot on the ballot. Harris is the poster child of delusional ego-maniacs, like Newsom, Beto O’Rourke, Tim Walz, Cory Booker, and Sandy Cortez, who have an incredible opinion of themselves far above reality. These people will continue to believe this persona as long as some lazy reporter continues to put a microphone in front of them to be rewarded with something profound and bite-worthy. We can make Kamala go away. We just need to ignore her.
