From the “found in the inbox” files, some text and a TikTok from a reasonably young lady who not only doesn’t want to work, but also says she has no idea how.
I don’t want to work. I told her she is not going to take my food stamps, she is not going to take my Section 8, and I’m still not going to work. You trying to get me to work and me refusing is a you problem. It’s not a me problem. I will continue to sit at home on my ass while the taxpayers work and support me and my children.
My bizarre mind starts looking for new lyrics to ABBA’s Dancing Queen.
You are the welfare queen
Section 8 since you’re 17
Welfare queen
Food stamps, cash assistance, and disability
You can talk, you can jive
Don’t want a job on your life
Ooh-ooh, ooh, see that girl, watch her scream
I am a welfare queen
Anyway, here’s the full quote and the TikTok that’ll make you scream.
“I just got out of a meeting with my DHS caseworker, and she is threatening me once again to take everything unless I go and get a job. I explained to her I can’t go and get a job. Actually, it’s not even that I can’t, it’s that I do not want to. I have been on welfare for 13 years. Thirteen years I have been on Section 8, so I haven’t had to pay rent, okay? Food stamps, cash assistance, disability— I don’t even know how a job works, okay?
I don’t want to work. That is the whole point; I don’t want to work. I told her she is not going to take my food stamps, she is not going to take my Section 8, and I’m still not going to work. You trying to get me to work and me refusing is a you problem. It’s not a me problem. I will continue to sit at home on my ass while the taxpayers work and support me and my children. Because if you are in America and you pay taxes, that is your responsibility. So no sweetheart, I’m not going to work. Thank you.”
Can you fire people from the country? She’s a net negative on prosperity. Not only does she add no value, but she also robs the country of value, as she admits, and generationally by teaching her kids to be like this. Reminds me of something someone shared last month, where a kid’s mom didn’t want him to get a job and learn any skills (he really wanted to) because she would lose welfare or food stamps or some such freeloading thing. Another perfectly capable human being who had chosen to be a parasite, passing the trait down to future generations. Though I hold out hope for the young man who argued with his mom about wanting to escape the dependency culture she’d embraced.
I’d work three crappy jobs to support myself, so I can’t begin to understand people like this. It’s also why I have zero problem with work requirements for able-bodied anybody trying to spend what we earn without putting in any effort. And the worst part is, she gets to vote to protect that lifestyle, and there’s an entire political party responsible for that, and it rhymes with “Democrat.”
