Ask Whiny Dems If Judges Are Above The Law
Democrats are losing their minds over the Trump Administration keeping its promise to enforce all the laws passed by Congress. If you are looking for a more colloquial reference, try every cop show or procedural in which obstruction is an arrestable offense. Interfering with a federal agent enforcing the law is an arrestable offense.
This is against the law.
Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan deliberately snuck a criminal with a rap sheet out through the back door of her courtroom to prevent them from being detained by Federal agents. That is obstruction, interfering, aiding, and abetting. The criminal is Jose Flores-Ruiz, previously deported, here again illegally, and charged with multiple counts of assault and domestic abuse.
He hits women. This is against the law. Helping him escape custody is against the law.
In response, the FBI obtained an affidavit, filed a criminal complaint, and got a warrant from a federal judge for the arrest of Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan.
“The Judge learns that ICE was outside to get the guy, because he had been deported in 2013, came back into our country, charged with committing these crimes, victim is in court. Judge finds out. She goes out into the hallway. Screams at the immigration officer. She’s furious. Visibly shaken. Upset. Sends them off to talk to the chief judge. “She comes back into the courtroom. You’re not going to believe this. Takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers. Takes them out a private exit and tells them to leave. While the state prosecutor and victims of domestic violence are sitting in the courtroom.”
Yesterday morning, the FBI filed a federal complaint and shortly thereafter arrested Judge Dugan at the courthouse. She’s charged with obstruction of ICE proceedings (18 U.S.C. § 1505) and harboring or concealing a person to prevent discovery and arrest (18 U.S.C. § 1071)— both serious felonies.
The federal criminal complaint identifies several witnesses who saw everything that happened.
Bad for Hannah Dugan, but not as bad as New Mexico Judge Juan “Joel” Cano. He confessed to destroying evidence that he’d supplied an illegal alien with alleged ties to a violent Venezuelan gang member (here illegally) with access to semi-automatic weapons. The ‘migrant’ was living in the Cano guest house, which is where ICE arrested him, before coming back for former Judge Cano.
Mrs. Cano is also under arrest.
Democrats are painting this as executive tyranny and an attack on the judiciary. Ask them if judges are above the law. Ask them if laws were broken. Ask them about the female defendants denied justice when their illegal alien abuser was set free by Judge Dugan. Then ask them why they are defending a guy who gave a suspected illegal alien criminal access to scary black automatic weapons … without a background check. And is this how you can get them to stop trying to take your guns?
