Take Two Parts Lawfare, Two Parts Delusion, And Top It With Condescension

As we turn the page on 2024 and look ahead to 2025, we see two diametrically opposed plans on the left and right. The Left made a mockery of the act of turning the page during the campaign, and they are getting what they asked for but were in the wrong book. They believed in the Biden/Harris’s track record and were confident they would prevail in the election without having to do the work to get to the pinnacle. The Right is putting together the machine and people to proceed quickly to get the Trump plan from promises made to promises kept. They recognize the narrow window they have to prove to the American people that their’s is a better vision for a more successful and prosperous America.

The Left is in a quandary. Both politicians and media are reflecting on the message the voters gave them in November, and their actions show they may not be reading the room very well. They continue to dwell on their perception that the election was not a mandate and was closer than people think. Trump won the popular vote by about 3%, which seems slim until you realize this is the first time a Republican has won the popular vote in over twenty years. But more importantly, Trump took virtually every demographic, including some that the Democrats have controlled for decades. The Blacks, Browns, union workers, and even the under twenty-five group all shifted to the Right, looking for a better chance at a slice of the American dream. That dream was seen to be slipping away from most, replaced with questions of what was ahead for the youth of America.

The Left also has an issue with leadership and credibility. Chuck Schumer is more focused on weaponizing the judiciary against Trump than on how Congress will get anything accomplished under Republican control. Biden is simply a bitter, angry older man whose legacy is forever tarnished. As much as the administration attempts to paint a glowing picture of the last four years, or an irrational Nancy Pelosi says Joe Biden’s face belongs on Mount Rushmore, this presidency will be regarded as the worst in history. Jimmy Carter lived to 100, waiting for someone to take his spot at the bottom of the rankings. Biden took that spot. When Biden was asked what Trump could learn from Carter, Biden said three times with the look of the Joker on his face, “Decency, decency, decency.” Joe Biden has shown that, with his lack of character, he is in no place to judge another man’s character.

Biden finally had time to put together his list of regrets, and the top two were that the Attorney General and the Justice Department did not move quickly enough on Donald Trump and that he did not stay in the race. Finally, you have the audacity of members of the media degrading the MAGA supporters. The Left believes that MAGA people are ignorant, stupid people who primarily have GED-level educations.

I’m just curious if they lump Elon and Vivek in that basket.

It will be a relief to turn on the TV and not get a dose of KJP. The media is finding a new way to show allegiance to the Left, and that is to be as condescending as possible towards the Right. Disgraced people like Don Lemon or Washington Post writer Jennifer Rubin, whom few have even heard of, are taking shots at the intelligence level of the Right. It is a foolish exercise, for if they look at the scoreboard, they just got swept by the illiterate folks on the Right. What does that make them?
