This election looks like a toss-up if you believe the polls. One day, Trump is up by two, and the next day, it’s flipped. We have roughly 50 days until election day, and it will be a nail-biter, but it doesn’t have to be. First, the polls have been far from accurate for the last few cycles, and the under-polling for Republicans is a major problem when trying to evaluate the numbers. The conventional wisdom is that you can add 5 to 6 points to the Republican numbers. If true, Donald Trump has firm control of the race, and the election may be his to lose.
We know the Democrats will cheat. That is not speculation but fact. We know there will be games played with early voting, ballot harvesting, absentee ballots, and the number of illegals the Democrats can get registered in time for November 5. Virtually every state is distributing voter registration forms to illegal migrants whenever they visit a government services agent. It is against federal election laws for a city or town clerk to ask for proof of citizenship when presented with a registration form.
They must take the word of the person registering to vote. This could be millions of votes and enough to swing elections at any level. These immigrants are already being counted by census takers and will impact the Congressional map as well as the Electoral College. These people who have been invited to our country by the Democrats have multiple purposes, and that is how it is determined where these illegals are transported. Illegal migrants are not just a concern at the border states. Every state is now a border state and feels the burden of the open border.
The other factor that could make this a Reagan-like whipping is the Evangelicals and gun owners. These two groups are incredibly supportive of the former President, but, and it is a big but, they do not typically turn out to vote. We have to try and change that habit. Trump and Vance need to address these groups at every opportunity. It is not enough for these folks to say they back Trump. They have to vote.
Last, the overall polls show a toss-up, but when you dig deeper into the border or economy, Trump’s lead broadens dramatically. These are the two most important issues to voters, and if people vote with their wallets and the safety of their families, they have to vote for Trump. Trump says it best. You may not like him. His personality may be too intense for your liking. The bogus legal actions against him may scare you, but you really have no choice. You can buy the empty hope and joy campaign of Kamala Harris, which means more of Biden/Harris, or you can vote for the man who will Make America Great Again.
