Never mind a tough question: can someone please ask Kamala Harris a legitimate policy-related question? It has been nearly two weeks since Harris and the Democrats pulled off the coup of the century, pushed Joe Biden off the political cliff, and made Harris the presumptive Democrat candidate without earning a single vote. In that fortnight, Vice President Kamala Harris has yet to field a single question from the media. Except for FOX News, no media outlet appears concerned with the lack of interaction with the press. They will do whatever they are told to help put Harris behind the resolute desk, and if that means sheltering her from the scrutiny of her beliefs and vision for America, so be it as long as Donald Trump, the 45th President, does not become the 47th.
This collusion between the Democrats and the media is the epitome of election interference, but as long as it is successful, nobody will care, except for 75 to 80 million Republicans. Nobody cares about those MAGA, Hitler wannabes. Just shut up and deal with it. Everyone knows the Democrats are sleazy cheats when it comes to elections, but damn, they are so good at it. Republicans look in disbelief and wonder why they cannot match the dubious effort. Maybe it is because Republicans are born with a conscience. If we ever want to see a Republican in the White House, we better lose that guilt complex and fast.
The media understands that the Kamala Honeymoon will last until Harris takes her first direct question from a journalist. Harris can dictate the news cycle if she can avoid questions and vetting. She can continue to make campaign stops at Sorority Sister events where the audience drools rather than vets the VP. Harris remained in her vehicle at a campaign stop in Arizona for over thirty minutes, leaving the press corps to roast in the desert sun. When she finally emerged, the media folk expected the VP to deliver something profound, but she stood before them and read from a binder, ala KJP.
It is the responsibility of the media to extract information from all candidates. They have failed miserably with Kamala Harris. She stole the candidacy away from Joe Biden and has been barnstorming America every day since, yet not a single question has been directed to nor responded to by the Vice President. Kamala Harris has been claiming stances on key policies that were averse to her positions when she ran in 2020 or supported Biden’s positions as Vice President. She cannot get away with flip-flopping without explanation.
The media must challenge candidates, or their claims and comments will become facts before vetting. Harris is given a free pass to build a lead in the race using just her energy and momentum. Thus, the collusion. Trump must get Harris to commit to a debate sooner than later, preferably before the Democrat Convention. He must push for two or three debates before Election Day. Debate is the only way Harris will be challenged on her positions, and she must explain her flip-flop. As Trump said, the media is trying to make Kamala into Margaret Thatcher. Kamala is no Irion lady. She is a paper chameleon.
