You Think This is a Heat Wave?

We’ve had a hot streak in my corner of the world. High eighty or low ninety-degree days in succession are always a blast (of heat). Thankfully, the nights have been in the low seventies, which is cool enough to afford sleeping with a fan in the window. I’m fine with any number of hot days if the nights are tolerable. But it is hot, and you know what that means.

Global warming, climate chaos, end times! I was going to skip that post this summer, but when the mind wanders and posts need writing, the low-hanging fruit beckons. When it comes to heat and waves (or heat waves, if you prefer), the fruit doesn’t get much lower. America has a heatwave champion that’s hard to beat, which can be a problem for the fearmongering Climate Mountebanks. There wasn’t a lot of atmospheric CO2 back then.

So, please ignore any science or data that disproves their point.

Reliable data sleuth Tony Heller comes to the rescue, ignoring, as he should, Brian’s suggestion.

Even using the suspect NOAA record, there’s no contest, which is why we’re not supposed to talk about it.

As always, a hat tip to Mr. Heller, whose work you can enjoy here without waiting for us to share it.

And remember climate kiddies. 1936 – hotter, but way less of the stuff they say makes it hotter.
