Welcome to Groktober. Last year, with a lot of help, we ran an event fundraiser with many speakers, vendors, food, a gun raffle, lots of great people, and more. We had a beautiful day for Groktoberfest 2023 and raised a few thousand dollars. The fun and the networking make it all worth the effort, and every dollar gets us closer to the goal, but in person or on the page, we still need to do the same thing.
We can’t swing an event this year, so we need to go virtual. This month, and hopefully long after, I will be interviewing people on current topics of both local and national interest. The goal is to get back into the habit of doing phone and streaming interviews—conversations that will be the official reboot of GrokTALK! Those are “our speakers.”
Interview: Parents Support Free Speech and Girls’ Sports in Bow, NH
If you missed my September lead in Five Reasons to Support GraniteGrok now, it offers some words on why The ‘Grok has unique value worth supporting, and it does.
We’ve stood tall for girls’ and women’s sports and those on the ground who defend them, long before the Bow incident.
We’re on the cutting edge of accountability for vote fraud, election integrity, and, more recently, ballot security in New Hampshire.
No one in New England media or possibly the nation will take anyone to the woodshed without regard to party or position while allowing advocates to defend them on those same pages.
Where media has shied away from allowing comments on content, we defend and embrace them.
When the corporate shills take shots at us, we wear them as a badge of honor.
Our ability and commitment to supporting grassroots groups as a media platform is unmatched.
We give a voice to our readers and for our readers (not everyone can or will do what we do) while supporting maximum liberty with minimum government interference.
And we’ve helped make and break both candidates and issues, and there is much more work to be done. With your support, we’ll continue the fight together. Remember, Tyranny never sleeps, so neither can we.
We need to raise a bunch. Please be as generous as you can, and thank you!
