On this day in 1692, Sarah Goode, Sarah Osborne, & Tituba were arrested for witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts. Tituba confessed and turned informant, her charges eventually dismissed.” Goode was hanged for witchcraft. Osborne died in jail.
