Happy Mother’s Day

A quick shout out to all the moms! We hope you have had and are having a wonderful Mother’s Day. And no, we’re not talking about “birthing persons.”

We mean moms – biological women who have given birth or adopted children (men, your day is in June, no matter how you identify). Sorry, that’s just how we roll.

And children need both a mom and a dad whenever possible, by the way. The data proves it. And we realize the culture has taken a wrecking ball to that form of family, and not everyone has two parents.

So, have you thanked your grandmother or great-grandmother (as far back as your family goes) or those unofficial “moms” who may have stepped up or filled in if your circumstances warranted it?

Maybe you were raised by your “wife,” a process that started after you met and continues to this day. Thank her.  Thank the women in your life who helped guide you in positive and productive ways even when you couldn’t see that this is what that was at the time.

Thank them! It’s not too late.

So, to all the women who have embraced the role of mom, Happy Mother’s Day.
