Biden Admin Founds Ministry of Truth – Targeting the Minority Community

The US Department of Homeland Security has announced a new “Disinformation Governance Board.” Sounds creepy and destined for mission creep but just for the heck of what is their mission?

“[T]o coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia” …

The goal is to bring the resources of the department together to address this threat. I just read a very interesting study that underscores the importance of the point that you make, of the spread of mis and disinformation in minority communities specifically, and we are focused on that …

The Swamp has created a Disinformation Governance Board (See Orwell’s Ministry of Truth) to “counter” mis and disinformation in minority communities.

The director of this board is named Nina Jankowicz who, “In 2016-17, [Jankowicz] advised the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on disinformation and strategic communications under the auspices of a Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellowship. Prior to her Fulbright grant, she managed democracy assistance programs to Russia and Belarus at the National Democratic Institute.”

An alleged expert on Russian disinformation is heading a division of Homeland whose job it is to ferret out and correct misinformation among minorities in the United States? For the purpose, I kid you not, of “protecting free speech, privacy, civil rights, & civil liberties.”

Governments do not create boards or committees to protect free speech, privacy, or civil rights, and not in the 21st century. Between Truth squads and commissions on discrimination, equity, and inclusion, the Left has increased the number of quotable “insiders” whose mission has been to suppress speech or weaponize the cancel culture.

The new Disinformation Governance Board will inevitably become that but until it does, how worried is the Left that it has created a rapid reaction force to prevent minorities from believing anything but the approved narrative?
