The think global act local crowd has a script from which they may not deviate. When talking about ‘Global’ Climate, pick local examples and ignore the whole picture.
Or, use local examples from a few places or just claim the big picture sells your narrative and your solution.
The climate cult is, well – a cult. Their almighty god is you, and you are an angry, planet-destroying god. And only they can see the damage that must be healed. Only they know the way to make the world whole. And it’s Marxism, which, as it turns out, is their preferred political system.
How convenient.
Not so convenient is the problem of data not yet hidden or manipulated. Sacred texts are edited to sell a version of events that promotes or advances their specific goals.

Where have I heard that accusation before, I wonder.
While you ponder that, take a look at this. The gsl Snow Lab at Rutgers University, propped up by the climate fantasy role-playing gamers at NOAA, is the premier source for this data. North American snow extent. How much of the northern hemisphere has snow cover every.
They track it, plot it, and publish it. It is one of many trends and not by itself indicative unless, like all the other trends, it is going the way the political Pharisees prefer.
You read the headline, so you know it’s not.
The first thing you might notice is the trend line. Snow cover has been increasing over the past fifty years. The second thing you might see is the cyclic pattern. The rise and fall extend year over year. There would be no correlation if you mapped just about anything else about which the climate cult wails.
Other forces, many of them no doubt, are at work here, but you are not one or more of them.
Remember, this is surface snow without any indication of accumulation. It is the physical area of the northern hemisphere with snow cover year over year.
New England has snow but not a lot. Out west, they have places seeing record accumulations. That’s not odd either. And none of the climate models or modelers has any incentive to try and account for these other factors. To engage in science. To look at how their theory is disproven by nature and fix it.
They love their models and the funding they get from the politicians who keep them pointed in the wrong direction. It is a problem that is not a problem until they make it impossible to know that past or present as anything other than what they want you to see.
There’s a lot of that going around, and I’m sure they’ll get to the snow extent soon enough.
The top half of the planet is not losing snow cover. It has been gaining it, and that’s not your fault either.
