The Left’s messaging for 2022 is a lot like its messaging for 2020. We’re not Trump but is that really all they’ve got because a lot of people still remember how good their lives were under Trump.
Most of America, even Democrats, had jobs, rising wages, cheap gas, more cash in their pocket, and s skip in their step. Their victories in 2020 were more a product of weaponizing the Flu and January 6th. The former is becoming an albatross and the latter is not exactly the kind of nag you can ride eleven months to victory.
That’s it. Fear of Trump! That will turn them out – to do what, fill in ovals on vote-by-mail ballots so poll workers can repeat the “blue wave” of 2020?
The only thing blue about that now is how sad everyone feels after not protesting election thievery faster and more often. A feeling they’ll want to keep close at hand for the days and weeks after the first Tuesday in November 2022.
And no, Trump doesn’t want to be Speaker but the other fantasy brewing, care of Ace, is that a GOP House will impeach Biden and maybe Kamala, which would make the Speaker of the House president.
