Salvation Army ‘Quietly’ Removes “Let’s Talk About Racism” Guide (But We Still Have a Copy)

On Thanksgiving, Browncoat shared some news about the Salvation Army. They had begun teaching the gospel of Marx, or Kendi, or some #woke Marxist malcontent. Letting white donors know that they need to apologize for their racism. That news did not go over well in majority-white America.

While Racism is, according to the Salvation Army, not biological, the balance of the document focuses on injustices by whites against people of color. The word “White” appears 119 times, including whiteness, White Communities, White Americans, White Men, White Youth. There’s an entire section on what is whiteness.

If you follow the original online link, the PDF document is gone. But not forgotten. We download these things and store them locally so that they can be, like the internet intended, forever.

And like similar mysterious document disappearing acts, the policy is still in place. They are simply no longer allowing you to know that. In fact, they got quite offended by the idea that the internet caught them Red handed and it made them look bad.

“The Salvation Army occasionally publishes internal study guides on various complex topics to help foster positive conversations and grace-filled reflection among Salvationists. By openly discussing these issues, we always hope to encourage the development of a more thoughtful organization that is better positioned to support those in need. But no one is being told how to think. Period.

The guide’s purpose was to instruct members of the Salvation Army under the assumption this mission would extend to anyone to whom they spoke. The outrage is typical. They claim they are not doing that, but there is no other outcome. To prove that point, they are sending this guide back to their International Social Justice Commission for review.

Hello! McFly! There is no room for thinking outside that box.

The fact that you have an International Social Justice Commission is proof that this is how you intend to do business. It exists to advance the idea that white people are racists. A review will only result in them saying, see, those opposed to it as written are racists, and the only change will be hiding the agenda from public eyes.

Sorry, too late for that. This is the document, and it’s what you committed to being. Until you recent and seek true forgiveness by banishing these “demons” from your “body,” this is who the Salvation Army is moving forward, and it’s going to cost you.
