[Update] Glenn Youngkin has won the governor’s race in Virginia 51 – 49. The races for Lt Governor and State AG still show the Republican leading but have not officially been called.
Virginia has been held up as a bellwether of the upcoming 2022 election. That may be what the people want and given how the Dems are treating the country like a rental car, that’s probably accurate, but until we fix 2020 the Des will keep fixing elections no matter what the people think.

A quick Election night update with the caveat* that no Democrat concedes until they are sure they can’t still steal it, and Terry McAuliffe might not be able to steal this one.
He’s down over 10 points.
No, that body-positive genderless opera singer has not yet sung, and things could look different before midnight or by morning. That’s how these things work. When Democrats say “everyone votes,” they mean “votes” until your guy has won. So while Virginia may be for Republicans now until the skinny leftist creep sings, that would be McAuliffe, this thing ain’t over.
Oh, the Virginia Attorney General and Lt Governor races are also trending Republican, each with 9 point leads.
