Karl Marx was a filthy, egotistical, mean-spirited racist and bigot whose philosophy attempts to validate this bad behavior by institutionalizing it as a political program.
That’s my bumper sticker “tag line” of Marx from the book, Who Was Karl Marx? “The Men, the Motives, and the Menace behind Today’s Rampaging American Left.”
I just interviewed the author, James Simpson, and I nailed it. Marx was a slacker and a brat mooching off others and waiting for relatives to die to spend any inheritance on himself. The 19th-century template for his ideological offspring. Entitled jobless, whiny internet troll living in their mother’s basement.
Jim introduces us to the roots of this violent ideology and all the major players. Marx, Engels, and Lenin, of course. But then there’s Sergey Nechayev, “The most important radical no one has ever heard of.” Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, Derrick Bell, and Noel Ignatiev. Antonio Gramsci, W.E .B. Du Bois, Ted Allen, Herbert Marcuse, Saul Alinsky, and Cloward, and Piven. The Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, the NWRO, ACORN, Antifa, and BLM.
They are all connected, and Jim lays it out for us so we can see the path and its connections to the modern political Left.
It’s a quick read, only about 150 printed pages, and packed with historical details you don’t get in just any history lesson. And at the end, Jim has suggestions for a way back.
We spoke for about 20 minutes, and it’s worth your time to listen. Then please, support Jim, a long-time friend of the ‘Grok and the 603 Alliance, and buy the book. You can order here, on Jim’s Website.
The book is currently ranked number one in several Amazon categories.
Here’s the interview.
