RSA91:A Right To Know – Brentwood School Board: Free Speech is Verboten? Why??

To the Chair and Members of the Brentwood School Board (SAU16): Pursuant to the Right to Know Law (RSA. 91-A), I am requesting public access, within 5 business days, to the governmental records reasonably described as follows:

1) Notes or detailed information on the motion Board Chair Melissa Litchfield made on non-residents speaking during the school board meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2021.

2) Notes or detailed information on the motion that was made to allow non-resident teachers and/or staff members to speak during the school board meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2021.

3) Notes or detailed information on my request to review the denial of non-residents speaking during the school board meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2021.

Per RSA 91-A:4 IV(c) If you deny any portion of this request, please cite the specific exemption used to justify the denial to make each record, or part thereof, available for inspection along with a brief explanation of how the exemption applies to the information withheld.
