Why Did NATO Open a Joint Forces Command Center in Norfolk VA – The First on US Soil

I would normally think little or nothing of this. It is press from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). You may remember them as the stooges that Trump forced to pay their fair share for defense costs. NATO just opened their first North American “franchise” office.

NATO’s newest operational headquarters, Joint Force Command Norfolk, has reached Full Operational Capability (FOC) and held a ceremony July 15, 2021 to mark the occasion, with special remarks from the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley and Vice Adm. Andrew Lewis, commander, Joint Force Command Norfolk.

This new command is part of the allied command operations structure and headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia. It will provide a U.S.-led, joint multi-national operational command, supported by component, Allied and partner commands, responsible for the North Atlantic and the High North.

NATO’s mission has been to protect western countries in Europe from invading Soviet hordes. That may have evolved a bit, but the focus is still armed forces in Europe. So, why open a fully operational “battle station” on US soil? ” Its mission is to protect the Strategic Lines of Communication across all domains and enable the reinforcement of Europe.”

There’s also some crap in there about being the “bulwark of our shared values of democracy, individual liberty, and the rule of law,” which I do not buy.

If the past eighteen months taught us anything, the focus of their western values is on global containment of the population, which brings us back to NATO’s new “drive-thru” operation in Virginia.

The best possible reason I can think of for building and staffing a fully operational multi-national command on US soil is the imposition of force on US citizens at the convenience of the ruling class globalists. Or, maybe the people who run the UN, NATO, the WHO, the CDC, the NIH, the FBI, the CIA, and so on need another money-laundering operation, and this is that.

I get that I’m cynical and jaded (but in the nicest way) when it comes to this sort of thing, but I don’t see the point. The FBI, CIA, and the weaponized intelligence apparatus in the US are already supposed to have secure and hardened global lines of communication.

They are using them to spy on everyone, so it’s not a bandwidth problem. And their mission is not to stop the Chinese.

There’s no good reason to place resources meant to protect Europe thousands of miles away unless they are here for some other purpose.

So, why are they here?
