Claiming that their video equipment was not properly set up and operational, the Board changed to a Zoom meeting at the last minute. Yet there are three in-person meetings scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Just not Monday night when hundreds of parents are expected to express their displeasure over a mask mandate for student athletics.
How many parents are going to double-check to see if the Board moved the location of the meeting before they drive to the Nashua North High School? Most won’t expect this sort of foul play.
Why not just delay the in-person meeting until Tuesday night and let parents have a voice!
It appears the Board is not interested in hearing directly from parents. Possibly they are scared of the number of parents who might show up in person. But clearly, the Board is unafraid of violating their own policies mandating in-person meetings after May 10, 2021.
