Sure, the DOLLAR value of destruction is up – stuff is worth more than before and we’re building more of them. Doesn’t mean that the storms themselves, on AVERAGE, are stronger.
But the Media is bound and determined to make sure that EVERY storm is a crisis on which something MUST be done.
