What do you call a government commission to ‘rein in’ media? How about unconstitutional? Too late? Big Tech is already being allowed to pre-chew our news but wow we have politicians hopping on the band wagon with them. One of them is AOC, that brilliant beacon of tolerance and freedom from NYC.
This insulated blockhead is a sitting member of Congress who swore an oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. And still, she is supporting a commission to rein in the media. It kind of makes you wonder how she won an election? Would it have happened without the media? Just asking.
Leaving aside the reasons we may think she and her Party were able to do so, they ran the table in the election. Today there isn’t much standing in their legislative way. We are listening to what their agenda is and if you have an ounce of sense, you are trembling. They seem bent on some of the stupidest flights of fancy ever to escape a SNL skit.
The Representative did a lengthily Instagram Live on Tuesday. There she says she was in fear for her life during the siege. This leaves one to wonder why she would not become a second amendment supporter. Given: The Capitol Police either could not or would not protect her. If the fear is real: Why wouldn’t she want to take responsibility for her own safety?
Pravda on the Potomac or Ministry of Truth?
This unhinged individual is accusing the media of “spewing disinformation.” She said according to the NY Post,
“There’s absolutely a commission that’s being discussed but it seems to be more investigating in style rather than truth and reconciliation… I do think that several members of Congress in some of my discussions have brought up media literacy because that is part of what happened here… We’re going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so you can’t just spew disinformation and misinformation… It’s one thing to have differentiating opinions, but it’s another thing entirely to just say things that are false, so that’s something that we’re looking into.”
Let’s understand, AOC’s natural instincts tilt to tyranny. She’s so self absorbed she’s oblivious to it. What she’s talking about is a bad idea. Everyone but an elected Democrat can see it tramples on the First Amendment. But that hasn’t stopped a Leftist ever before. The Leftists are clearly, at this point, highlighting their fascist activity. They are in alignment with the Big Tech agenda of submission and control. Not exactly constitutional.
The Representative is supporting an idea held in such contempt that nobody DARES agree with it. At least not publicly. It is however; as she points, out a move the Left is keeping on the board. It is time to make fun of AOC’s brainfart. What should we call it? Pravda on the Potomac has a nice ring. Or there the more straight forward ‘Ministry of Truth.’ AOC is from the government and she’s here to help. It’s going to be a long four years…
