Facebook Lets Third Party Flag Me For Fake News Then Asks Me To Boost the Content

I shared a Babylon Bee post on the Grok Facebook Page. Some third-party BS “fact-checker” flagged it. They said hey this is satire  but “some people believed it.” No, they didn’t. You are all morons and “Lead Stories” (their so-called fact-checker is leading the way!

Tagged as fake news

First. It is the Babylon Bee. It’s satire. Their Smollett offered a job at CNN post was “Awesome.” Funny. And, let’s face facts, real satire. CNN has passed off more fake news than perhaps any Media operation in History.

It’s so bad that a former employee created straw men arguments to flag some earlier content as fake news when it is their analysis of our news that was fake.

Our story was real and legitimate.

But Lead Stories wrote a story to prove our news was fake that had nothing to do with the facts of the story they called fake. Facebook didn’t bother to check they just took their fake news word for it. That, apparently, set a precedent.

Even though the fake news tag was fake news, my posting a satire link (because it was funny) got flagged as, you guessed it, fake news. By? Lead Stories.

But wait, it gets better.

Facebook is so clueless about what the other hand is doing, it asked me to give them money to boost a post that their third party idiot ‘Fact Checker” flagged as fake news.

Have you ever tried to contact Facebook?

They don’t make it easy. But I bet we can find a way to contact Lead Stories.

Stay Tuned.
