Southern New Hampshire – Get Ready for Your First BIG Snow

If you’re tired of the lite crunchy stuff we’ve had so far this winter in the southern parts of the state, real winter weather is on the way. The unpleasant cold we’ve experienced will be joined by shovel-ready snow beginning Sunday afternoon.

This slow mover will hang over our heads until Tuesday (even Wednesday!), dropping flakes and causing havoc. Not just with holiday travel but driving in general. This will be the storm that weeds out who forgo how to drive in this sort of weather.

We’ve all seen it.

The first time there is enough snow that you have to drive on it, people play hide the car in the culvert. Meet new people with authority. Spin the Chevy. And other reindeer games.

To borrow from Sergeant Phil Esterhaus (Michael Conrad) on Hill Street Blues. Let’ be careful out there. Slow down. That goes for everyone, even the liberals who hate us. Don’t feel like you need to break something to help the economy. We all know that isn’t how it works. And we’re not interested in anyone getting hurt.

Slow down.

By the way, here’s the view from Boston Weather. It’s a bit different.
